Interview: Ji-sung Park
To mark the launch of United's new local language website in Korea, www.manutd.kr, Ji-sung Park spoke to MUTV and ManUtd.com during the second leg of the Reds' Asia Tour.
The Reds' winger - currently recovering from knee surgery - has joined up with his team-mates in Seoul after the team jetted into the Korean capital on Wednesday. Although he will be out of action until January, Park remains confident that he can help the champions to even more silverware next season...
How does it feel to be in Korea with Manchester United?
I'm very happy and excited. It's the first time the club have visited Korea and I'm pleased to be a part of it. For Korean people, United are the best club in the world, everyone supports them.
What is it about United that Koreans like so much?
I'm not sure exactly. I think the fact that they can support me as well by supporting United is important for them - they have one of their own to follow. My move to United has meant a lot of people have been following what I've been doing and also the club.
How is your recovery from a knee operation going and when do you expect to be back in action?
I feel okay. My recovery is going very well. I hope to be back in January. I saw Dr Steadman recently and he was pleased with how my recovery is going. I feel good so far.
